was supposed to head down to the springs w/ athalliah & icegeek to meet up w/ some folks from MTBR for a little palmer park action, but in the end it wasn't to be. poor sleep (and lack thereof), delayed meeting time, long drive, work-to-be-done, etc.
so instead i took a little spin around golden. it was a bright sunny afternoon, but you can't let that fool you this time of year– there was a chill in the air. i was quite tempted to make a run up white ranch, but i knew better. that said, i actually did start up the west side of NTM, but it was clear (as mud) after a few feet that the trail was in no condition yet for tread. so instead i circumnavigated the mesa, via town and bike path, for a nice jaunt on a nice day (on a nice bike). :-)
