weather was cooperative, w/ storms forecast for later in the week so went out for another path/road journey. nothing too exciting to report, though i did use CO2 for the first time to fix a flat. i could get use to that, as i hate using my little mini-pump and working like a chump for 10 minutes to get 30 psi. though i wonder if there is a "best practice", as the dispenser got super cold at the end and it kinda seemed like the flow stopped before it was empty. i don't recall if it was a 12oz or 16oz bottle, but the tire was definitely soft still… so either it stopped working early, or i need a bigger bottle.
i will get on my soapbox and scorn the parents out there who let their (young) children go out on the bike w/o a helmet. i especially cringed as i passed a mom w/ her daughter on one of those trail-a-bike attachments, sans helmet, looking like she could be catapulted off the bike at any moment (and mom didn't inspire much confidence as an avid cyclist, also without ye ol' brain bucket).
rant off. good night moon.
