snow. cold. more snow.

haven't been on the bike in a while. brrrrrr. grrrrr.

that may change tomorrow, as john (JSD303) forwarded me some info about the black hearts cyclocross rally. luckily it isn't limited to CX bikes. we got a bunch of snow this afternoon though, so i'm not sure if it is still happening (guess we'll find out in the morning). green mountain --> bear creek lake park --> red rocks --> dakota ridge --> back to green mountain. could be fun. i need to get out.

i've been going crazy lately trying to reconfigure (on paper) my bikes for a winter makeover– both current rigs and a potential new frame (!). i really enjoyed building up the ti lite last winter, so am looking forward to a new winter project or three. it's nice to have a fair amount of old parts (retro/classic as they may be) to swap around, though it usually necessitates buying something new. ;-)

problem is making each bike different enough to justify owning more than one (after all you can only ride one at a time, right?). right now i'm thinking: all mountain, cross country, 1x9, and {gasp} a singlespeed. we'll see. i change my mind and the component specs every other night.
