finally got out to join the notorious TITS gang for a thursday night night-ride... back to buff creek again.
nobody told me they were all (mostly) superfit singlespeedsters. ;-)
good ride, quick pace... kinda yo-yo style for me: at the back for the climbs; at the front for the descents. definitely a different ride being on some of the same trails from sunday– only this time on the ti lite instead of the tracer. both have merits. new descent (for me) down buck gulch(?)—over 2 miles down some flowy trail—esp. fun in the dark i might add!
fitness is still my Achilles Heel. need to download the training regimen for the Firecracker 50.

People with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder may be plagued by persistent thoughts or images, or by the urgent need to engage in certain rituals. They may be obsessed with dirt. Symptoms are further defined by the tendency to haggle over small details, which subsequently begins a mental pre-occupation. In addition to these criteria, the sufferer must realize that his/her obsessions are excessive. Moreover, the obsessions or compulsions must be time-consuming (taking up more than one hour per day), causing impairment in social and/or occupational functioning. For people with severe OCD, it may take several hours a day to carry out the compulsive acts.
